As we are now in the third week of the national emergency, I wanted to provide an update on some helpful ways to stay in touch with the political world despite the variety of restrictions!
Here are some ways you can stay in touch with your preferred choice for president:
Joe Biden... Biden is hosting a series of podcasts on his new show, Here's the Deal with Joe Biden. He hopes his podcast will "offer some really helpful information" and allow supporters to "keep talking with each other." In his first podcast, Biden interviewed Ron Klain, former White House Ebola Response Coordinator. His podcasts can be found via his website.
Bernie Sanders... Sanders is hosting virtual rallies and conversations via his website. He has hosted doctors and members from Congress. Tonight, he is hosting an event called "Virtual Roundtable" at 6 pm est to address the coronavirus crisis in Puerto Rico.
Donald Trump... Trump's main priority is to steer the country in the right direction and to help stop the spread of Covid-19. As of now, he has no upcoming virtual rallies or podcasts in regards to his campaign.
Primaries and the Election... With the Olympics postponed until next year and several states delaying their primaries, it seems likely the general election will be postponed to a later point in time. 14 states have delayed their primaries due to the virus.
