Good morning, politics fans! In just the last 24 hours, Congress finally agreed upon the largest stimulus bill ever proposed in order to help Americans hurt by the Coronavirus. Small businesses will receive $300 billion, local and state governments $150 billion, and hospitals $130 billion. The bill was negotiated by Treasure Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Relieved, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, “At last we have a deal[...] it will inject trillions of dollars in cash into the economy as fast as possible.” Lastly, I want to mention that this is an expected to be passed from both the Senate and the House, even though it is not officially passed.
